Weekend Snaps....

Happy new week to all :)

 I hope everyone had a lovely weekend:)There was a vast of improvement in the weather .... well whilst it is no where near balmy summer days at least I got away without  having to wear a coat!
 I spent a lovely Sunday afternoon in Co Wicklow at one of my favourite haunts for lunch,  the beautiful Tulfarris Golf and country club.

They have a vast Sunday lunch menu to choose from but I opted for a firm
 favourite of mine, the croque monsieur which is always amazing!

Love that the sun appeared and I could wear these aviator style sunnies I bought in H&M for only €8 ....very handy for throwing in your bag as I'm always afraid I will break my good ones!!

Friday has rolled around again and I am looking forward to a weekend of rest and relaxation....well I might just about tidy the garden up a bit if that dreaded rain holds off.

 We are on a promise of Monday being quite warm so I'll have sun chair at the ready if that actually happens.

I have been rather busy dropping the lads to and fro for college exams but one benefit of this is whilst waiting around to collect them I had time to do a little shopping in a few different outlets. 

I was also really delighted to pick up my salad bowl from the Paul Costelloe range for Dunnes.

I will leave you with some lovely outfit inspiration that would suit our climate nicely today and to those that have glorious warm sunny days

Summer Footwear ....

It's that time of year again for getting out of the boots and into some

lighter shoes and pretty sandals. Here's a little round up 

of my favourite styles available at the moment...

Sunday...

I had a lovely afternoon today out and about ... first there was a mini shopping trip to Kildare village for my eldest daughter, then it was back to a nearby racing venue to attend a dance event for Sarah. As soon as it  finished we headed straight to the restaurant for a late lunch.

It was actually freezing standing around considering it is May.... just look at those black clouds hovering overhead! I did have a totally different outfit planned but even my leather jacket wasn't doing much to keep me warm today :(

Style inspiration: Floaty layers....

 As soon as warmer weather hits I immediately start

 dreaming of long flowy outfits. Now if our own weather would only co operate fully that might be possible!

Happy Weekend....

I can't believe the May bank holiday weekend has arrived already! 

How fast the year seems to be going by:(  The boys are finished college and are 

now studying for exams which will be starting shortly. 

Ankle boots Bershka €39.95

I was on the hunt for wedges while shopping this week but got a little bit distracted by lovely ankle boots and came home with this  mink suede effect pair from Bershka instead:) They are fine for the in between weather we are experiencing at present.

I also went to look at this gorgeous new range of pottery from Paul Costelloe at Dunnes. It is from the new marrakech range and I really want that large salad bowl for summer dining, but it wasn't available in my local store.

 I'm heading to Cork next week for a few days so I will check it out whilst I am down there:)

Casual Styling ....

Nothing looks more stylish and smart than a bright blazer, casual jeans and wedge sandals, so when I came across this photo of Miranda Kerr in a coral  blazer I immediately wanted to buy one:) 

I have a white and a navy blazer but always lusted after a brighter colour.
